DeLaval horizontal mixer HM blends a balanced ration, whatever the available feed ingredients or storage systems.
DeLaval HM can mix long straw and hay into an even, homogeneous ration. It uses three augers plus a specially constructed cutting device on the bottom auger.
DeLaval HM can also be used with Partly Mixed Ration (PMR) in combination with feeding stations and feed wagons.

DeLaval HM is equipped with a programmable electronic weighing system. This means your cows get exactly the right ration, without you having to remember the recipe each time you mix. You can also easily switch from one group of cows to another.
DeLaval HM is available in 8 m³, 12 m³ and 17 m³ capacities, with a range of belt conveyers to deliver feed to a feed table or wagon. It can be equipped with mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic brakes; and fitted with a silage cutter to load silage efficiently without needing a second tractor or loader.
